Air-cooled meets water-cooled – UnserBus at Porsche Zentrum Hannover
Sometimes our old VW T2 is simply a perfect fit. Saturday, 12 September 2026, was one of those days: at the big meet of air-cooled and water-cooled cars at Porsche Zentrum Hannover, our photo booth bus Peter got to drive right into the heart of the Porsche world.
Around 1,000 guests came together to celebrate their shared passion for Porsche, special vehicles and, of course, plenty of boxer engines.
Right at home with a boxer engine
Surrounded by classic air-cooled Porsches and modern water-cooled models, our VW T2 Peter felt very much at home. After all, an air-cooled boxer heart beats in his rear, too.
So on this day our photo bus wasn’t just a photo booth – he was a small part of the car meet himself. And people loved it: lots of visitors took a closer look at Peter, told us about their own Bullis and classics, or took the chance to grab a souvenir photo.
The enthusiasm of the many children was especially lovely – though the grown-up motorsport fans didn’t need much persuading either.
A day for car fans big and small
The meet brought two Porsche worlds together: the legendary air-cooled classics and their water-cooled successors. So there was plenty to see, discover and, of course, talk shop about across the grounds.
Right in the middle of it all, our Peter provided souvenir photos to take home. An old VW bus among all those Porsches? It fits better than you might think at first.
Because in the end, they're all connected by the same things: a passion for special cars, classic engineering and – at least in the case of Peter and some of his famous relatives from Zuffenhausen – the boxer engine in the rear.
1,000 guests, plenty of Porsches and a VW T2 right in the middle: for our Peter, the meet of air-cooled and water-cooled cars at Porsche Zentrum Hannover was almost a little family reunion.
